yea.. first to create a steam dedicated server you gotta download the dedicated server "game" and copy the esf dir. to \Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\dedicated server\ then to make it run with esftool just select \Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\dedicated server\hlds.exe as the hl executable...

It seems the crash happens only on certain comps, i just fixed it :/

Spectra260: maybe there's a problem when resolving won's ip, goto edit->settings->main and click on the "resolve ip" button ... or you may have something wrong with the timeout setting (which i doubt since you can list steam servers), change it in edit->settings->misc tab, then there's a timeout...

like i said, just redownload esftool and reinstall it ~-Kaioshin-~: it's just there was an error when you downloaded the installer, download it again and it'll work

Well it's just a stupid thing i forgot, i fixed it, redownload esftool (same link) and it'll work DarktoothDKD: there's also an option to change the mod dir, so if that's only thing different in the inteam it shouldn't be a problem

Yes, there is an option to list ESF servers on steam network, you also have to point esftool to Steamdir\SteamApps\[email protected]\half-life\hl.exe

my guess about the ticket error is you must have cs installed in order to get a ticket for third party mods I got that error with esf and ns, but i don't with hl.. but since i'll NEVER install cs on my comp i can't test it :|

You'll need Metamod (metamod, not adminmod :/) and of course the models and sounds

The beams used to be huge, but no more since i change server's pl average About AMX, it won't be needed, i started to port to metamod (>_<) because i don't have lot of stuff left to do (just code some fx and 2-3 others minor things) and it is way more handy

There's no command to join an other team, but if you wanna code a plugin to do so (metamod or amx, i really doubt adminmod can handle that) set player's "team" info key to either "good" or "evil"

I (and EEA beta testers) use metamod 1.16.2 and it works just fine ... If gamezone always run the latest version, i'd say there's a new adminmod installed that cause it O_o

try typing "meta list" in console, if u don't get anything then metamod isn't loaded correctly, if you get a list check if adminmod is loaded
