I've tried many things but nothing is working, i still cant get ESF to start. i installed it to my steam/steamapps/my email/ folder but when i click on the shortcut it puts on my desktop, it searches for hl.exe, loads up steam, i look for a esf game, then it says my .dll[cl_dlls/client.dll]file...

I'm having trouble finding the ESF game... I know i have the updated version of half life, 1.1.1.0, and the updated version of steam, AND the 1.1 beta of ESF, but when i go into half life, and, click custom games, it doesnt show up at all, and when i go to internet games, and try to join a game...

still didnt show up under custom games.... please help, this game looks so badass, i want to play it very badly

i can get the list of servers, but now, when i try to join one, it says that i need to install the custom game first, i already installed esf, and i know i did it right, wtf...
