I actually got a chance to play Xenoverse at NYCC a month ago. When I played it, the FPS was pretty decent and the game play itself was okay to say the least. That being said, I noticed that one of the other kiosks demoing it was running it pretty badly, the frame rate was actually pretty low...

Xenoverse looks like a butchered attempt to find a new front. It feels exactly the same as the last 3 games, and of course, it's trying to make itself more unique by adding some half-assed generic characters to the story. Not to mention the combat, which is basically ripped from Battle of Z...

I think people forget that George Lucas didn't cast many "famous" actors to play characters in the films.

Looks like Burst limit, Raging blast, and UT combined, with some added cell shading and motion blur.

Practically no engines can truly handle VR right now, since there are none made for it.

I really like the new art style, especially in the second picture. But to me it just seems like it will be another mediocre re-hash of the same game we've been seeing for the past few years.

You could enable first-person in the GoldSRC engine, but I think ESF wouldn't be the right game for it. If you take into consideration the twitch movements and the eye strain you'd get from seeing constant flashes, you can see why it wouldn't be pretty.

I wasn't expecting a new trailer! It was quite the pleasant surprise.

The new batman is supposed to have and advanced cloth physics engine, but nevertheless it will still run on unreal, which keep in mind, is a decade old. So depending on how good your laptop is, you might be able to run it.

I think a cool mechanic would be if deathstroke and deadshot were in a sense hunting you down throughout the game. For example, what if throughout numerous points in the game deathstroke would attack you, and you would have to fend him off until you got the skills later on in the game to beat...

One of the weird things about origins, was WB Montreal's strange obsession with locked doors. Almost all of the doors needed the Crypto. Sequencer when it wasn't needed. Also the fight with deathstroke was a let down.
