Its pretty f*cking easy to lock on back in 1.1. You just had to make sure you were at proper ping (Less than 100) so you would have the quickest lock on time. It takes less than a second to point and click. You don't neccessarily have to ki blast, beam jump on the ground next to them, leaving...

The issue with 18's infinite energy issue i think that they should have 1/2 of the amount of ki normally used.

If you start throwing and highlight a beam weapon, such as ki blast or generic beam, and you throw them, killing them. The top will say "so-and-so killed whoever with ki blast".

It is possible, just not with melee, its usually used with fingerlaser. I've seen it on demo (the cheater and camera will remain anonymous for unknown reasons). Theres no point in revealing his identity as he no longer plays esf.
