ok I put that same thing in my shortcut, andf now it just opens Half-Life as usual.. no console, no ESF, no nothing.. just normal HL

ok, I have a new problem now... I re-installed ESF, and now when I try to run it, I double click the icon and nothing happens, but thats when I'm not logged into Steam.. when I am, I double click the icon and it just opens the main Steam menu, with the "Play Games, Browse Games, Friends, etc." :p

I already own Half-life, its installed, and no, i didnt run it before trying to play... but I will try. And I installed ESF on the default folder in the installation and it said it was in the Half-Life directory, but the ESF folder is in the counter-strike directory. I'll try re-installing.

yes I am... should I not play on Steam?

When I open ESF, it simply takes me to the Counter-Strike splash screen with the console open over top of it... I dont really know what to do from there. On top of that, I downloaded the latest patch from the ESF site, and when I try to install it, it says something along the lines of "ESF...
