I like the idea of cell shading, just make it an option if thats possible, but i don't know if that makes 2 models needed for each person, one celled and one normal cause that would suck. This couldn't be done in the FX scripting thingy, could it?

We already have an insta-trans, its called perfect trans and it is a major waypiont in the game in my oppinion

I think that esf is getting too noob friendly for it's own good too. P.S. The original idea for just moving fast for tele was good cause it would make it so you couldn't tele through beams.

I like that Idea. :) But i can't think of an escuse for getting damage if you bend the beam away from you so it misses. Maybe it could go into a sort of struggle (Shield Struggle?)

Charge pushing is off the subject. and this only would effect energy attacks, not players.

changing the beam to whats in the picture would probably require a model. And to be quick, HL is VERY bad at making models that would look any better than the beams are now.
