its in steam, and ive done scan disk and it didnt help. but ill just wait for 1.2 thanks

whenever i go to play esf, it starts up fine but wyhen i go to creat a new game, and click start, it says half-life has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. ive re-installed it about 50 times and its doing the same thing every time. anyone got some ideas on whats wrong?
