Sure but it's not a cd-key problem , it's a computer problem when you use a cd-key of a friend , the game says that is an error. It not freezes. Maybe you can download the last driver for your graphic card If it's an ATI , you can't dl a patch for .(there's problems between hl and ati)

And you can't play at hl if a friend use the same cd-key
