I have a similar problem, but I DON'T use EVM. I set the key to "Bring up MP3 Options" as F8 or F9, but they do nothing in-game. No window pops up, no nothing. What's wrong?

Well, lets just say that I have no other choice but to do a system restore or reformat. Would it be best to attempt a system restore FIRST and if it fails, THEN do a reformat? Or should I just reformat from the start?
