i know that but the one i downloaded everytime i would install it it would make half life appear but it didnt have the hl.exe

Alright im new here and i downloaded the beta and installed it without any errors but the thing doesnt show up anywhere for me to start playing it i would really appreciate it if someone could help me weather it be by giving me an working beta anything would probably help
