I think spending the extra $50 to future proof it slightly is probably better. The price to performance ratio on the 660 is much better. You might need the extra power in the future.

I still say when we were still trying to make frieza's telekinesis work by pulling up env models and throwing them around. Cool in concept but we couldn't make it work in a good way in a fast paced multiplayer game.

Like Sub and Grega said you really don't want constantly changing speed. ESF is a game that thrives on its consistency and muscle memory. When you do something you want it to happen the same way you did it last time so you can get the result.
