Yeah, Oblivion gates appear all over the damn place. I literally can't go ten minutes without seeing one when I'm running around exploring. You can get some good loot from them though, so it's often worth venturing in to close them.

The problem with quick travel is that I know I'm going to miss out on something cool. I always come away with some decent loot whenever I raid a cave or dungeon or whatever.

Shenmue! There was fighting and all, but over half the game was spent running around fairly quiet streets, playing in the arcades and buying toy capsules :D

Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow for 46 pence, from Pc World. My buddy who works there said they were just trying to shift what they had left. Not the best game ever, but for less than a can of coke it's hard to complain really :D

I don't think they're making it the AI dumber in a literal sense, just restricting what they can do so as not to mess the game up for the player. I doubt the changes they're making have any real impact on how the player see's the AI, it just makes sure they don't mess up quests or do something...

I didn't know how to beat him first off. But judging by the damage he was giving, he didn't know how to beat me either :p If you're into tough bosses, or tough games in general, you should give Ninja Gaiden a try at some point. If you get a chance that is.

I agree with Kama. Both forms of warfare take skill, just in different areas. The wars in days gone by were certainly more brutal though.
