Whoops, I need to adjust my signature as now I've got an i7 920, 6 GB of DDR3 2000mhz, and a ATI 5870. I was more concerned with an older computer (a Pentium 4 2.0ghz with an ATI HD 2400 and 512mb of memory).

How is performance at the moment with the updated shaders? HL1 never looked so good, so I'm curious as to how you're doing it. What kind of systems are you running to get the graphics to that level at a consistent frame rate?

I've been playing since 2003, but it's been a very long time since I actually sat down and played it again. 1.3 beta was too buggy for me when I first tried it (long ago), and 1.2 I've lost interest in ages ago. Maybe once 1.3 final is released I'll give it a whirl again. =)

Yes, it's the same bug, but for some odd reason it started when I first started a game and not when switching maps. However, I just tried it again, restarted ESF and it wasn't there.
