    Well, the reason why they said to you "press z" is because Z is the default key to ascend. If the Z-key doesn't work for you, you might want to check you rcontrol settings to see which key you set for "ascend".

    I don't know, I had the same problem with 1.1. With 1.2 I still have it, but it's a rare occasion. This is one of those crashbugs which they don't know much about.

    Ok, ok. I suggest that you uninstall ESF and just reinstall it all. First the full 1.2 version, then the patch. That's the only way I can think of.
