go to www.steampowered.com , then click on BUY steam games or w/e in the top northwest corner... now scroll down till you see Half-Life not Half-Life 2, click on Half-life which is only 9.95 USD....then install esf in the hl folder restart steam and your good to go.

ya why? and no it aint opengl the or w/e my friend had it with those solid colors with opengl...
