I had the exact same problem. Just install it without mp3s and you won't have a problem. If you want to use the mp3 player then you can just install it up to the point where you get the error, then install it again without mp3s. You will have the mp3 folder and can listen to them during play...

WinAce also works, but WinRar is much more friendly... I uninstalled WinAce shortly after I installed it.

Good idea but it ain't gonna happen. There is a game for PS2 planned (or was about a year ago :P) that lets you and up to 7 other players fight online, but I haven't heard anything about it and details might have changed.
