i think you overstate kryptonites ability to weaken superman. although it has an instant affect on him, it doesn't instantly depower him, his power decreases over time by being around it. also, that's Superman Prime. Kryptonite has no affect on him. also, when a human laces their clothing...

i don't see anything wrong with this. i've always seen the marvel movies as non-canon and outside of earth-616 continuity. therefor they can do pretty much whatever the **** they want in them and it makes no difference to the ACTUAL characters.
