Installing Problems

Hey sup? Well, i downloaded the beta, and im trying to innstall it, but i dont know why but it wont let me install...It wont let me browse to send to install it into a different folder it just...Well i dont really understand the problem. Could some plz help me out? Cuz it doesn't state a problem that i have, it just wont let me click the "install" button as i run it.

The install button is greyed out?

Run Half-Life once before you install. Mods need some final directories that aren't there until you run Half-Life for the first time.

run half life once? meaning..?

Meaning, start Steam. Run Half-Life. Play it for a minute or two. Install ESF after you've done that.

i did it and it didnt work, maybe i didnt do it right. when u say that this is what i did...Got on half life 2, played a bit, got off, and tryed instaling, still didnt work. =/

ESF is a Half-Life 1 mod. You'll need to have HL1 if you want to play.

lol i think il pass, game doesnt look to great anyway.
