"Last Transformation?", I bet you mean the Perfect Transformation that transforms you instantly... Yea, that takes rather long. But then again, no one mostly gets them in normal servers.

Well, when he says "last transformation" I can't help but think EVM...
But, that said, the fastest ways to gain KI would either by by kiblobbing people, or landing a lot of hits in adv melee.
