Hey, I got a question. In 1.3 will powerstruggles be straight like they were in the alphas? I liked that system much better than the betas, and it must be due to a bug, so will the team fix it?

Now with Kung-Fu action!

They'll be using the rubber band effect.

*As seen in POTW* (kind of)

Not really. The rubber band effect only comes into play when the player moves the beam around. As for powerstruggling with another opponent, they will be straight.

Kidboy is right. A previous video showed the beams to be in a straight line.

As said.

Its a bug that makes the beams behave like that. They will be normal when the bug gets fixed ^^

I hope so. Because when I PS with someone and he wins the beam goes right beside me and I go: What the hell! That was supposed to hit me!" It doesn't even damage you if you're not close to a wall or something. It goes right by and explodes pretty far from where you're standing.

Powerstruggles involving beam attacks will result in one side taking damage. That I can promise you.

They'll recieve the the correct frags, because now, the rubber band effect makes sure that the beams are straight, there's no chance of hitting a wall or floor, its either you or the other player.

Are multips's still in it? Because if they are, then the rubberband effect would be null with the new blast.
Is it better to pump mini surges into the powerstrugle or big ones? How exactly is it different from the current one also? Besides the rubberband effect coming in play.
