My vote goes to Bapplebo, for the color scheme, and finding myself more intimidated by a Quake/Starcraft/DoW (whatever he is) marine.

Bapplebo's is monotone, and Jariroth, did you make that background? If not, I don't think you put much effort into it.

I didn't create this BG coz i was out of inspiration.
Just used picture of brickwall, added some bloodspatters and created the highlighting effect.
Just because i don't like randmoly brushed backgrounds, They are not my style...
And as i said Death isn't really a theme for me... I had few other ideas, but finding decent renders to use proved out to be very difficult... So i ended up using Grim Reaper...
Edit: OMG, i got overrun by minions... Good thing, though. I dont want and i can't host the next competition.
