Shadows bug is still not fixed...damn

If you mean cloud shadows its not a bug. Its a texture. And as long as it isnt changed itll be like that.

I mean not clouds bug, but the trees shadows bug. Something is wrong with grass texture:warning:

no he means that tree models are not casting shadows on the grass..

Oh thats probably cause the map aint finished yet ^^

It'll get fixed when layne goes in and finishes the texture Other priorities atm. It's a minor glitch, so it's better to get the macro stuff handled first.

oh, shall i just sing songs of praise? Crits about "the tiny little ****" is about pointing it out and giving you the chances to resolve them, thus improving the quality of your work and by extension the mod.

If you dont get that, why are you modding?

normally when people bring up "complaints" it means something needs fixing. What would you want? complaints and comments? or people blowing sunshine up peoples arses and calling **** gold? if you cant handle crits on work, and just want praise then tbh, your in the wrong scene.

Crits are OK. But constantly hagging on something is a bit much.

We know about the shadows from a previous POTW. We dont really need people to point it out every single time.

then turn them off in maps effected by it untill you fix it? would be pretty wise if you are all tired of people nagging on and on about it :/

The POTW is chosen by a popularity vote. The funniest picture wins. Or other times the only picture wins.

Do you really think we go out of our way to make special POTWs or something?

We go with what people scrape together. Forget the deatails if the majority of the team likes the contents then bugs dont matter in the pic. Its a popularity contest not an update.

Thats what the people should understand. Heck wanna have your name on the front page under the POTW. Then send in a funny pic thats ESF related and well add it to the candidate list.
