Community Survey

**Note: All of the currently released versions will be played. ( Alpha 1.5, Alpha 1.8, Alpha 2.0, Beta 1.0, Beta 1.1, Beta 1.2/2.x, and the Open Beta's. )

Just a quick survey, everybody please participate.

Do you think someone would say no?

I can't speak for everyone else, but I sure would. I applied as a beta tester so I could help with the balancing and whatnot. Course I'd do it.

I'm absolutely sure that we all are different but in that point I guess we all put toghether.

And if we truely could play/test it now then we can also make better suggestions.

Just know that you won't be playing the inteam. These play sessions will be held in all of the currently released versions.

I think it should be made more clear in the first post that it's only for the released versions and not for the inteam.

As long as the servers aren't VAC-secured.

I prefer VAC so its sure there aren't cheaters around. If you are VAC banned, why don't you grab a new copy? Last week was a weekend deal, and HL is quite cheap.. Even you should know that.

I'll be running the server, so I'll see about running a VAC-free server, just as long as nobody uses any hacks.

Im sorry I dont understand. "were to hold weekly ESF play sessions"? You mean, the team hosting a server once a week? is that it?

I need to wait until next month to buy HL1 again since for some reason i got banned from steam.

I haven't played anything on steam since last year and now i can't log in anymore....

meh HL1 is 8€ anyway.... just need to wait for my paycheck since i can't even afford that right now

Basically.

i think they should play esf a lot... coz how can u make good game even better without knowing gameplay on pro lvl :_)

it's recomended for gameplay coders and mappers coz i've seen too many maps that are **** to play on

Well I would participate playing the last 1.3 version sometimes, but I cant see it lasting longer since it has shutdown bugs, lacks animations, and has no adv.melee. Besides when it was released the team did host a server for like a month or two, so I am absolutelly sure it will end up dead from that time on. As for previous versions I wouldnt participate.

Why is the team thinking about making that?

I'm still in. I don't know how much i would play though.

Aren't there a few devs/testers you'd like to punch around a few times? I definitely have some!

how would playing previous versions help anyway? The inteam game is problably 80% different now.
