ESF Music

What's your favorite music to listen to while playing ESF?

I want to compile a playlist with great combat music. The Black Mages seem like the best so far, and undoubtedly there's more out there.

Video game music without lyrics preferred, but anything works if it's got the right attitude. What's the best you've got?

For combat, maybe Linkin Park - Given up i would say...

yeah punk rock is nice, but tires sometimes. The best thing would be a merge of dbz japanese sound with rock, then you would really get into it.

Yeah like a soundtrack of its own.

Rusticate are pretty good, Trial of Courage makes me not want to fight though.

I might as well throw in L'Arc~en~ciel as well, I practically worship them.

You know i was actually talking about the ones titled esf1 to esf9 ^^

Music like The Black Mages, Guilty Gear XX, Blazblue, etc. That's more along the lines of the combat music I was thinking.

I'm unsure whether I should just make a big playlist for Good, Evil, and Androids, or whether I should make ones for each character. Or make some universal and some customized, like JENOVA.

Anyway, songs like that would be great.

Viking metal.

haha I listened to a bunch of Viking Metal. I like how it goes, but the singing ruins its rhythm for a video game. I want music that empowers from the background, not music that head bangs in your face.

My friend, you would probably be a fan of Darangen's arrangements of VG music remixes. Atonement is definitely something you'd like.

Vomitron.. They are pretty good and might be what you are looking for

I prefer the other ones. Techno doesn't really do it for me.

Mutsu and Doku, you both seem to like similar music for ESF. What characters do you both like to play mostly? I think I might vary the music between characters a little more.

I'll give you my outline so far and you tell me what you'd like to have for each:

Goku -
Vegeta - heavy guitar
Trunks - heroic-type music
Krillin -
Piccolo -
Teen Gohan - not sure
Adult Gohan(?)
Frieza - epic military music
Ginyu Force - military snare drum & funky bass
Androids - synthetic beats
Cell - synthetic beats & ominous
Buu - heavy & ominous

So I got a few I haven't thought of anything for. Goku would be more upbeat, Krillin I was thinking like fast-paced metal, Piccolo more spiritual-based mixes, and Adult Gohan... cheesy video game music lol

Let me know what characters you like to play and what kind of music you like best.

Orchestral music > Metal/synth

heh don't laugh at me but i prefer listening to Happy hardcore/hardcore while playing.... it's so energetic so it fits the game(atleast for me).
