FRAPS problem

hey everone as u no im working on a fan fic useing ecx but im useing fraps its a great program but the screenshots come out lower quality than the game and the videos are choppy and just bad i treid chaning the framerate but got nowear HELP

The videos are choppy because they aren't compressed and encoded. That's something you need to do with a program like Windows Movie Maker, SUPER, Virtual Dub, etcetera.

As for the screenshots, what format do you have FRAPs set to save them as (BMP, JPG, PNG or TGA)?

If you're going for quality, then the BMP, PNG and TGA formats are the way to go.

Are you using a full version of fraps?

What do you mean changing the frame rate got you no where? Put it above 60 FPS and it should record with perfect FPS.

He means the fraps FPS recording.
30 is enough, but that program usually brings your game down below that So it makes it a tad choppy.

Even worse if you have an older computer.
