Hi im new to ESF!

Hey guys i'm pretty new to ESF. I've only just heard about it and just HAD to download it to play! Bought half life especially for it too lol.

I just have a few questions about the game itself.
1. What are the best mods to download?
2. How many people play the game now? (my friends say its approaching 11 or 10 years old o.0)
3. Is the beta still being worked on- and therefore can we expect to see an ESF that looks and flows as amazingly as the beta (final) download on the website?

The best hl1 mods that I know of are ESF, Natural Selection, Sven Co-op and the Specialists. Naruto Naiteki-kensei is under development and promises to be very good. Also there is Paranoia that is a nice single-player. This engine just passed the 10 years old so dont expect much graphically for most of the mods. If you are not an eye-candy addicted you will problably have some fun ;D.

As for your other questions.

2.)People still play ESF. Though not as much as in the old days youll still be able to join a decently filled server in the evening hours.

AS for ESF itself its round 8 years old.

3.) Yes the beta is still beeing worked on. The open beta final is a public betatest version. The real deal is in development and you can check our moddb profile for updates. (since the site is broke thats now our main news site XD)

Start ESF click "find servers" connect to the first server that has a low ping.

If you arnt using STEAM then playing the game or not is your own problem.

I don't think there are any Lithuanian servers at the moment. I know because I myself are Lithuanian. Some guy might create one for some hours but there aren't any 24/7 ones.
