The only reason I agreed to the new AUP is so I could voice my disagreement. No sarcasm / irony is an absurd rule. I'm also not liking the fact that mods or admins have the power to instantly ban someone with one warning.

I'm closing this thread because, ostensibly, you've grossly misread the regulation:

"Attempts at shrouding disrespect under needless cynicism or sarcasm will not be tolerated, either."

That, to me, in no way says "You are not allowed to employ irony or sarcasm". What it does say is that if you employ sarcasm or cynicism as a method of covering what is, otherwise, an obvious attack on someone or some group, then it'll be treated as disrespect.

Also, and I mean no disrespect to the community, but this addition is not up for discussion. It's a part of the AUP and will remain there.
