if U get it free it is copy. If it is copy U can't play online and we cannot tell U where to d-load it bocause of AUP (read FAQ).So U'll have to buy it.

Ya you need Half Life 1 to play esf. I got lucky and bought it at Wal mart. Last copy....ever sold. GL though
