Why cant I upload animated picture for avatar or profile pic.?Is there some rule or it is just not suported?

I think just mods and amdins can do it. But really, Y is that so?

There is a certain size limit. That is all.

You used to be able to upload animated avatars but that was changed a year or two ago. Only the moderators and administrators can upload animated avatars.

100 x 100 and no larger than 10 kb.

max size is 600X200 ( Like 2 last sigs I made 4 U lol)

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

Says under the edit signature thing.

But he did use 600X200 and it was OK. And it says in FAQ 600X200.

Animated signature or not, it must be within the allowed limits (600 x 200, not sure about the file size).

i dont know guys whenever i wanna upload animated pic for sig. or avatar it says you may not upload any animated picture!so thats it,it just cant be done!thanks anyway
