ESF 1.2.3 > Open Beta

Can I copy and replace all files from Open Beta to ESF 1.2 and then play without error(at the console when i create: Host_Error: DispatchUserMsg: Illegal User Msg).My serial key isnt passing so i cant play Open beta with steam.:\ ;( Alredy used...OMG i dont want to buy half life again...

Eek. No serial key = No help here. most likely a mod will close this theard for asking. Sorry mate so I can't help you.

anyway i will copy the models,maps and everything to my ESF 1.2 and i will make ESF 1.2OB HAHAHA

Dont copy the models. It will suck badly. Because the models dont have all the melee animations...

Oh ok.But the maps i can? Look:

I dont have the sky around the map.Its all white and gray.What should i do?

The models probably won't work anyway.

The animations don't magically fix themselves, you know.

If you are copying Maps then you will need to copy 3 folders.

maps
gfx
textures

And copy all the models inside the models folder. But be very careful. Dont copy the folders inside the models folder

Do this
1. Open esf>models
2. Select all the files except the folders. (NOT THE FOLDERS)
3. Copy them.
4. Paste them into the esf>models folder of the mod where'ever you're playing. If you're using WON then c>Half-life\esf\models\ :\

you can get your cd key replaced if you can prove you own a legal copy. goto steampowered.com and find out more.

I think "WON" cant support alpha textures or what they are called.
On STEAM you have full texture support etc...
