how to install models

hey guys sorry for that last thread it was only a little prob that went away. anway the real thing iv came to ask is how do you install custom models on your computer. yes people say put it in 1.3 beta models folder and i did that but it still didnt work.

am i supposed to delete the old one? or put it in its model case like the gohan folder? thanks for the help whoever answers.

If you did that you would just be changing the normal model...
It wouldn't be a proper custom model which you could choose from a list in the game.
