My post count

How come my post count isn't accurate? It says I have like 5 posts when I have at least 50 maybe 100 even?

All I ask is teh ***?

edit: it now says I have 7 but still...

post in the off-topic section do not increase your post count.

I don't know, but if Off-Topic posts counted, people would be having 5-6 thousand posts.

I believe it was done that way because in the old days people used to post a few words in any thread just to get their post count up. God knows why people did that, but they did.

I think replies to threads about post counts shouldn't increase your own post count either...
I mean, the only reason I'm posting now is just to add an extra point to my post count!
Also, threads like these might be made for the same reason...
