HELP cant start server

im sorry but i cant even get a load screen i try and run the game its fine when i start lan server no go. i try and join a server no go i try offline mode no go WTF whats going on someone tell me what i did wrong?

What happens? Does it crash or lock up or what?

I have the same problem. I just can't create an internet game since 1.3 came out. I can do it in 1.2 fine, but not 1.3. LAN works tho.

Well no one can help if you dont explain the problem or anything.

Would also be nice if you tell if you use WON or Steam. Your system specs, how you installed the Open Beta, etc, etc.

Well when I try to create a server without LAN Game checked off, upon loading it just goes back to the main menu, no error message or anything. And yeah, I'm using Steam. My specs don't matter I think, since I'm able to run the game in LAN mode no problem.

Developer 1 should be on, isn't there anything reported in the console, dan?

i installed 1.3 on half life that i got using product key to get the game via download and extracted 1.3 files to the directory of half-life and i start game its fine no problems opening menu but when i make or join a server entire game crashes to desktop

OK now the name or icon isnt :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: even showing up in my steam game window
