you could try a few words of japanese though,

I think the ppl on this forum watch enough to understand
a few words of that given it's written with our letters.

Anyhow enjoy :p

You know you watch too many anime when you start recognizing words such as itami and sekai and going "hey I know what those mean!" Not to mention basic greetings whether face to face or on the phone and certain expressions or catchphrases. Don't even get me started on soundtrack lyrics that got stuck in my head regardless of the language barrier.

nah it's not about watching it too much,
In all languages you'll remember basic words if you hear them a few times
while knowing the translation.
It's called learning.

Using grammar on the other hand is something else.

i mean, everyone that watches durarara will know the word "konbanwa" since you hear it atleast 20 times.
same with oyasumi wich means goodnight.

oh well enough about japanese xD

It's true, I only knew such words until I started studying it and could make a few grammatical correct sentences that were harder to remember than "XX wa baka desu" and so on.
