Hey guys,

Recently some more people joined our ETLive project and we are currently searching a nice (free)project management tool and a way to communicate when we're not actively on Skype for example.
How do you guys manage the project and communicate? Do you have a simple issue tracker or a more elaborate system?

Does anyone else(outside the team) have preferences for project management tools and means of communication?

Cheers

We use TS for communication. As for the project management itself. we are using SVN for destribution and the Mantis tracking tool for the feature/bugs/tasks lists.

Mantis is fine for bug/issue tracking, but I think it's a bit chaotic to manage a whole project in.

I use trac (http://trac.edgewall.org/) as a bug+feature tracker/wiki for my main project, redmine (http://www.redmine.org/) for some other projects. Both are good. Communication is mostly face to face or by email.
We've already set up Redmine once, it's quite nice, but for some reason we've abandoned it(proberly due to the fact we're only with two devs before).

I think Redmine would be a nice tool to start with again.
