You can actually see that there is not much of difference.
The only difference between DirectX and Opengl is how they process the information and what information it can process.

Everything that has Open Graphic Library will stay there. Software will soon be out of the paper. No one will use Software anymore unless if its OpenGL.

Seems like Direct X is slightly better in every way, and really pulls ahead in terms of FPS, but still it isn't very noticeable, the difference.

Plenty of applications and games use DirectX, you know. DX isn't gonna go anywhere anytime soon.

You're clearing talking out of your ass. Come back when you actually know what you're talking about.

On topic: The devs are using OpenGL because it's more user friendly than DirectX.

This isn't off topic we're on, right? because to be honest you do really have deaves by not listening but making an ass out of yourself by getting yourself into trouble by creating such drama to this topic.

No he was totally right there. You seem to have no clue what you even said or what Open GL is from the way you wrote that sentence.

In any case Open GL has one thing Direct X doesnt, and its a major lead. Open GL is totally cross platform compatible. Meaning it works as well on linux, Mac OS, older windows versions, you name it, it runs Open GL. Where Direct X is not only windows speciffic, but also windows version speciffic.

I think the question has been answered :) No need for a debate. If you feel like discussing OpenGL vs. DirectX feel free to open another thread.

Blah oh blah blah blah boo.
In addition to what Revan said, I just want it to be known that Tvirus received an infraction for this post. I'm going to ask everyone to please try and not make irrelevant spammy posts like this.
