I don't know where it originated from, but that quote has been in ESF for a very long time.

I believe it predates the betas.

The first time I was saw it was in the alpha 2.0 credits, so yeah.

Sounds like something George Carlin or Bill Hicks would say. It's a very old quote, I'm sure it was a bumper sticker in the 90s. I suspect it was adapted from an Einstein quote - "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one".

It's pretty badass. Silly, but cool! Like ESF's very own timeless Relic(of sorts). Alpha 2.0 ... yeah that's totally before I played which was Beta 1.1 Was young then. Trying to kick ass and take names.

harSens used to have it in his sig for the longest time and was pretty much his motto, as well as the rest of the team.

Ohh... the credits.. I usually go through those at least once for every game I play, just a kind of respect.. it's been years since I did for esf.. I was a kid back then.. You guys are real slick you know that. Each one of you is a catalyst for a certain kind of chill factor.
