ESF Final

So I saw teh development stuff of ESF, and I have to say, it looks amazing. Pardon me if I wasn't paying any attention, but are you guys moving to Half-Life 2 engine for ESF Final? ESF Final looks MAJORLY different than the ESF now. I was still under the assumption that you guys would always focus on the Half-Life 1 engine until I saw this:

Despite Frieza's rather derpy appearance, this is a rather breathtaking screenshot, as the graphics look like Ultimate Tenkaichi level graphics, and Trunks' hair looks amazing. I then thought "ESF Final HAS to be in Half-Life 2. That's too amazing" after staring in awe at how far the progress has gotten, I assume ESF Final will be in Half Life 2?

Well, I'm not sure.

The point is, is ESF Final made in Half Life 2?

You are wrong, they always knew the engine could be pushed but no one bothers as it's easier to make Source look pretty.

Half-life 1 modding > Half-life 2 modding

Esf, I guess you could say is the continuation of DMZ in many ways but ESF is on hl1 and will die on half-life 1. When time comes for release day to hit, just watch this community boom.

DMZ and ESF are separate projects with separate teams. How in gods name is ESF a continuation of DMZ

The community at least ... it wasn't quite as bad among the devs. I think Kama was originally with DMZ if I remember correctly

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Kama was with DMZ. I think he was a mod on the forums or something.
