this post is to answer all the noob questions.......

Q) How do i make game servers show up?

A) Use the esforces tab in the drop box that is in filter menu.. I it esforces not esf.

Q) How do i gain pl?

A) The only way to gain pl is to kill people. Now you cant save your pl so live with it.

Q) Help i have a slow connection so i cant play online!

A) Well there are a few ways to fix this prob...
1) just play and live with the lag
2) go download akimbot so u can play vs bots
3) buy a better modem.....

Q) How do i go ssj?

A) You cant because it hasnt been implamented yet.. but if u really want to go ssj that bad you can download the ssj script.

I'd recommend getting a better modem myself cause I havent played with a regualr modem, but Im shure its not to good.

I apparently (it sux) have a 56k modem, but I still can get bad lag on many servers. ESF seems worse than average for me in the lag department (CS is the WORST, TFC is great).

Anyway, if you find the good/evil hard to distinguish, go to

I'd recommend evilpack (the second link) because they have a Piccolo skin, while the other doesn't. But I guess you could mix&match skins from both, and if you hate the inverted-colour style on the Evil Pack you can only use it's Piccolo.

To mix & match do i unzip files into 2 directory's and pick the ones i want, then put em in the ESF skins folder?


Im a noob when it ocmes to this sort of stuff ^

i used to play 1.9 on 56k and it lagged to hell but i got broadband now and it works fine (ping of about 50 and under) anyone playing this with less then a 56k should just shoot themselves lol

I play on a 56 k modem, but i get 46666bps, & i can always connect to atleast one server
(even if they r somtimes empty:S)
