instability

I donwloaded esforces recently and every time i try to play it it crashes. When the server switches maps, my computer crashes. Wehn i leave the game it also crashes. Also, it would randomly freeze on me. Is there a patch out there that can fix this problem.

i got amd athlon 700, geforce 2, 256 mb ram, and windows 2000 pro.
