Well BFP is a Quake 3 Arena mod, DBZ of course, and it is very nice. Bid for power is the name, and It had to be taken off the DBZ faction of chars. because of FUNi. (Those Fags...) Well, that explains most of it

why is ESF still around then?

Funimation is the US distributor for Dragonball, Z, and GT. They own the rights to all of the Dragonball Z products in the United States. They sold the video game rights to Infogrames, a french video game developer/publisher. This means that no one is allowed to make games or mods that have copyrighted material from Dragonball Z except Infogrames. BFP, Dragonball Quake, DMZ, ESF, et all are violating copyright laws. I think Funi went for BFP b/c they are the most visible. Their mod was even featured in PC Games if I remember correctly. As for the rest, I think b/c HL's engine is older than QIII that they won't be as fast to put ESF/DMZ/DQI out. These won't "compete" with infogrames stuff. (Even though I think that Infogrames stuff won't hold a candle)
