need help with Consol

Hi I'm having trouble opening my consol for ESF. I tried using the standard hotkey ~ but it doesn't seem to work...How do I get the blasted thing to open...

Right click ure shortcut, and add into the command line:
-console

I.E. C: \SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game esforces

Also...-nojoy, -noipx, -heapsize xxxx, -dev, -numericping, etc.

I dont get...it...but I guess I really dont have too.

i think he mean, that you should rightklick on the shortcut-icon from esf on your desktop. then klick on propertys and here ya go.

Eg:

X:/sierra/half-life/hl.exe

ok if you want ur shortcut to open esf when u clikc on it.

you put "-game esforces" after hl.exe

eg: hl.exe -game esforces


if you want ur console simply put "-console"
after hl.exe

eg: hl.exe -console


The meaning of nighthawk post:
"-nojoy" = Your joystick will be diabled in game
"-noipx" = id dont know lol , for me it just take out something
in mah login.

"-Heapsize (numbers here)" = you tell the game how much Memery you want it to use.

"-dev" = This is the developer mode

eg: if you kill someone with a final flash , normaly ull see in your console, (ur name killed (other player name) woth final flash.

but with this activated ull see it in ur top left screen.

"-numericping" = when your in internet game or lan games , press update, on the collum¨Ping , mornaly you,ll see 4 , 3 ,2 ,1 Green , Red or yellow lines that shows the pings of the games, but with that u'll see a lil number next to the bars.
