Yeah, weak beams and balls would be good. You could have power struggles and not have to worry about whether you would blow the map or not. And, if you were really strong and really wanted to humiliate someone, you could wait until they charged a Final Flash then send out a beam in the last possible second that would blow back the FF. Humiliation tactics.
