install the custom game??? HELP

I can creat a game but when I try to join one it says,
"install the custom game"

I even re-installed it like 5 times.

What folder you isntall to!? MAke sure its in your c:/sierra/half-life/ folder!andm ake sure HL is at 1.0.08 or Cs retail is 1.3 . and make sure ESF is v2.0! btw this should be in help section =)

thanks, But I installed esf in my hl folder it didn't work so I tried it in my cs retail and it didn't work.

Not to be a jerk, but you do know that you have to click custom game and select ESF right. Or you can put a perameter on the executable. HL.exe -game ESForces.

YOu have CS RETAIL RIGHT? WELl ESF goes to this exact location c:\sierra\Counter-Strike and LEAVE IT THERE dont put it in the hl folder or cstrike folder! dummy !=):\
