ok energy heals so why not also the life of the player. ok my suggestion is life regeneration. but it would be based on some equation depending on how low the life of the player is. so:
the higher your life left the faster it would heal(prolly 1+ per 5 sec bec its a light wound or even just a scratch)
and the lower your life is, the lower is the rate of regeneration(maybe +1 per 1 minute because its a "heavy wound")
the rate of regeneration would change as the PERCENTAGE of the life changes, realtime.

You know whats good entertainment/pastime for you guys? having another game w/ 2,4 or 8 player capability(for example crash team racing marvel vs.capcom, or just bringing your own fav game chess etc.) either a console or pc prolly console because you guys might even be getting sick with the pc
