My Calvraine concept.

The calvraine are an old race. At one time they were very warlike and agressive, ravaging the universe until they were driven back and defeated. Their dark goddess/queen banished to sleep in a star sized spacecraft for eternity.
The calvraine eventually evolved. Becoming more peaceful and involved in the advancement of the self. 10,000 years of martial arts are built on this peace. Not born of war, but of the need to perfect the self.
Trained by the reclusive monks of Nohk-Tahg temple, the Calvraine monks wait for the special children born amongst them.

Those born under the lightless sun of a solar eclipse.

The Calvraine born at this time can ascend to higher levels of physical being. Eventually attaining perfection of mind, body and spirit.
