The first 2 pictures is of the player ontop of water powering up. The third picture is the player underwater powering up. The fourth picture is over land powering up.
Now, your probably thinking - Oh no, not Pcjoe's ParticleSystem of lagness>.< But after testing it, and compairing it to my other particle system, it barely lags at all.
Now, if you have a sucky pc, i added a cvar just for you Basically, it lets you control the amount of dust particles Per ring/wave. I set a Limit of 0 to 100. If you look at the pictures, expecially the second one, you will see they go out in waves.
Heres an example of how the cvar works... you go in the console and type cl_particledust 5(its 40 by default), there will be 5 particles per ring, probably displaying 40/60 particles on the screen in all. If you type in cl_particledust 0, you will see no dust. I you type in cl_particle 100, you will have 100 particles per wave, which is overkill, but who cares
Also, A big thanks for zero for giving me a decent dust sprite, supplying me with ripple sprites, and helping me through the development.
Comments and suggestions are welcome. oh yeah, don't bother commenting about the aura, i havn't started on that yet....
