close range beam attacks do kickback

i was just wondering, because when you just jump in front of someone, or their back is turned, you spend all this time charging up your attack, and BOOM! it kills u. I was just wondering, and i know it would be a little problem coding, and bring the issues of a lot of glitchs but, it has the potentional to add so much more to the gameplay.
