Is that if a blast comes on the earth a hole appears and after a few min is dissapears it would be more realistic then just a smal black dot. :S

Well, from what I know about mapping. They would have to make it so when the beam hits the map it "breaks away."

And I think someone on here was going to make a completely destructible map. But I guess I dont really see the point. Isnt the point to hurt the other players and not the map?

Its not possible to create holes in levels, unless the mapper accually presets a peice of the level to blow up if you hit it X amount of times.

hey i make the destructionable map. it is not completely destructionable, i made one with 640x640 map with completely, or nearly evrything destructible. but the enging makes it really slow.

then i make now a map with green grass (WOW who doesnt know that grass is green) which u can shoot away. then there comes a sand plate, and when u shoot at this there appears the hl rock texture, u know from blackmesa.

and i will make a big rock which can be blown up part by part:
