i no not what for program i need,bud i have
al ready models en maps.Now i need a online sever

ok back to topic, i would find a coder and get tips from him, maybe pcjoe would be willing to answer your questions. If you cant find a coder go look in some of the forums on planet half life, lots and lots of toutorials there, hope this helps ya

if you don´t know it, hibiki is a mod

i dont agree with everything he does, but somehow i can understand him
noobs don´t read the rulez
they post where they want
ask question, already answered a thousend times...

Y'see the thing that throws me off is that under his name it says ' The Humanoid Typhoon' (nice pic of shadow by the way) instead of moderator. Completley in the dark about that.

look if u get 40+ pm's/emails a day asking about the beta and other noob **** i think u too would get just a tad bit poed at all the stupidness

making a mod is VERY easy...

in your halflife directory, make a new directory like "mymod"
copy the file "liblist.gam" and the directory "dlls" from the valve folder to "mymod"
open it with notepad, you get to see:

startmap "c0a0"
trainmap "t0a0"
mpentity "info_player_deathmatch"
gamedll "dlls\hl.dll"

deleta that text, and paste:

url_dl "your mods download url"
version "the date you finished ur mod.."
size "the mods size in bytes"
svonly "0"
cldll "0"
type "multiplayer_only"
nomodels "1"
gamedll "dlls\hl.dll"

DONE!

now everything u put in the mod, will replace the standard of HL

*goes into e-mail program hmm 40+ emails, spends next minute pressing checks then manages to pull off the "Ignore Address" Button* :S

anyway my question is.... will this topic last? some very old topics are gone. Most likely deleted. Its a shame if the same would happen to this one. its usefull if my clan ever wants to do this.

anyway. For a mod you need more then one man. You need soundartists, skinners, mappers, modelers.

I suggest to look at the titles on these forms and see what ya all need.
